Manisha Pandey

Associate Professor Manisha Pandey, is a Pricipal Research Fellow and Research Leader at the Institute for Glycomics, Griffith University. Asso Prof Pandey is an Immunologist and a lead researcher in the area of streptococcal vaccine development. Asso Prof Pandey has been leading Streptococcal vaccine research for over 15 years and more recently for SARS-CoV2. She have successfully led several projects from dissecting immunity to infection to the designing and assessment of vaccine candidates. Asso Prof Pandey has successfully led the translation of Strep A vaccine candidates into a pilot study in humans and as a co-investigator on an NHMRC grant, contributed to the development of a human pharyngitis model. As a Principal Scientific Investigator, Asso Prof Pandey has been leading the translation of preclinical studies into a human phase I trial of Strep A vaccines in Australia and Canada.
